Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to the business-to-business (“B2B”) services provided by SohoGlobal LLC, operating as Soho Export (“we”, “us”, or “our”), via https://sohoexport.com/.

By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. B2B Services Only

Soho Export provides brokerage, sourcing, and export coordination services exclusively for business clients.
We do not sell goods directly to consumers and do not operate as a retail seller.

As such, consumer refund laws may not apply.

2. Brokerage & Service Fees

Brokerage fees and service charges are:

  • Quoted individually
  • Based on the scope of work, asset type, and transaction complexity
  • Earned upon commencement of services

Once services have begun, fees are generally non-refundable.

3. Cancellations by Client

Before Services Begin

If a client cancels before any sourcing, communication with sellers, inspections, or coordination has started, a refund may be issued at our discretion, minus any administrative or processing costs.

After Services Begin

If a client cancels after services have commenced, including but not limited to:

  • Asset sourcing
  • Seller negotiations
  • Inspection coordination
  • Documentation preparation
  • Export or logistics coordination

➡️ No refund will be issued, as time, resources, and professional services have already been provided.


4. Seller-Related Cancellations

Soho Export is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes initiated by third-party sellers.

If a transaction is canceled due to seller action:

  • Any funds paid directly to sellers are subject to the seller’s refund terms
  • Brokerage fees paid to Soho Export remain non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing

5. Failed or Incomplete Transactions

In rare cases where a transaction cannot proceed due to factors beyond our control (e.g. seller withdrawal, regulatory restrictions, force majeure), we may, at our sole discretion:

  • Apply paid fees toward future services, or
  • Issue a partial refund for unused services only

This does not apply to completed or partially completed services.

6. Shipping, Customs & Export Costs

Fees related to:

  • Shipping
  • Freight forwarding
  • Port handling
  • Customs clearance
  • Storage or demurrage

Are governed by third-party providers and are non-refundable once incurred.

7. No Refunds for Market Changes

No refunds will be issued due to:

  • Market price changes
  • Exchange rate fluctuations
  • Buyer preference changes
  • Import regulation changes in the destination country

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of services
  • Legal recovery actions
  • Collection of incurred costs and fees

We strongly encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve any concerns.

9. Exceptions

Any exceptions to this policy must be:

  • Agreed in writing
  • Signed or confirmed by an authorized representative of Soho Export

Verbal agreements are not valid.
